Cottage Rental in the heart of the Laurentians : the house
Our charming rustic log house is located on a beautiful property (3/4 acre) in Morin Heights Village.
The main level of the house has a large bright country kitchen with pantry and three appliances including fridge, stove and dish washer, and everything from a microwave to all utensils and dishes etc/completely equipped. There is a powder room beside the small bedroom (ideal as an office as well), and a magnificent living room/dining room area (32’ by 18’ by 20 feet high) with wood floors and log walls, a propane powered stone fireplace with an insert. The windows have white blinds against the dark log walls for a wonderful romantic, warm look. This house comes equipped/furnished with all the comforts of home, or unfurnished for those looking for a year round residence.
The upper floor has a master bedroom, plus two smaller bedrooms. Sleeping for eight to ten guests or more is available at this property. There is a full bathroom on this level.
The half finished basement has a large amount of space for storage, a workshop area plus a laundry room with washer and dryer. This is a perfect space for a home gym. The electric blown air furnace system is on this level as well as the power box.

Outside beside the house there is a double car garage for storage and equipment. The lawn is very large, beautiful & private, sloping and surrounded with gorgeous old cedar trees; a wonderful environment for children and families. There is a large screened in deck to BBQ on that is a pleasant space to relax on year round. The Morin Heights beach and garden area is a short 2 minute drive or 7 min walk. This is a wonderful place with picnic tables, swings and other attractions. There’s lots of parking and a life guard.
Neighbouring towards the back of the property is a little house usually occupied by a couple year round.

Payment and Deposits
NOTE: LOG HAVEN is currently rented to July 1st/21
All rates are in Canadian funds
A deposit of 50% of the entire rental fee is due upon reservation by e-transfer or cheque made out to Les Immobiliers Milrav or Lucy Ravinsky. (Cancellation of the reservation MUST be made at least 4 weeks in advance of the booking or the deposit will be forfeited.) The remaining 50% must be paid by e-transfer or cheque at least 2 weeks prior to occupation and failing that, in cash.
Upon finalizing your reservation we will send documents to finalize your booking of your cottage, with information on where to send the documents once you have completed them.
There is a cleaning fee of $300 added to all bookings The damage deposit which is refundable, and depends on length of stay, is $750-1000 Visitors must sign a non liability document before occupying the house.
